I have checked Farrington's Biog index of EIC Maritime Service Officers
1600-1834 (no Holloways) and his Catalogue of EIC Ships' Journals & Logs
(no ship called the Mary Ann). Its possible there is no log and also that
the Mary Ann was not an EIC ship.
Checked both Dodwell & Miles - Officers of the Indian Army 1838 - and
Hodson,s -Officers of the Bengal Army 1758-1834 but no officers of the name
'Wiseman'.

Checked OIOC Biog Notes - nothing for Holloway but located the following
marriage: -
Thomas Wiseman, Pte, H.M 14th Foot; 13 May 1822, at Meerut to Mary Anne
Middleton - ref N/1/12/217. This is promising - from date and wife having
same forenames as daur.
Will do a further check at the PRO early Apr.
