Michael,
A bit of a guess, but I imagine that MEC stands for Methodist Church.
There is a large Methodist Church at Lalbagh - I believe it is the only one
in Lucknow. I can make further enquiries, as I have a contact who uses this
church, but it may take some time to get an answer back
