To be a little more precise: Nagaland is a state of the Indian Union, lying to the extreme east, with Assam to its left and Burma to its right. It is nowhere near Tibet or Nepal. With one of the highest literacy rates amongst all states, and its own elected upper and lower houses, I doubt if the words "tribe" and "headhunters" will go down very well with them. (The previous Speaker of the House in the Indian parliament is a Naga)

Bob
look at a search engine and type in Nagaland and you will find a most
interesting site
The people of Nagaland (between Tibet and Nepal )are the most wonderful,
colourful people I have ever met
They are a tribe of headhunters in the past generation
I had the pleasure of being part of The Baptist Youth World Alliance that
brought a large party of the tribe to a World Youth Conference in Glasgow in
1988 - they were guests of families here in East Kilbride
They were Christians as were the majority of their people
At the conference they danced tribal dances wearing national costumes and
it was spectacular (snipped)
