Having found the Burial record for John GRIEVESON:
13 May 1882, St. Mark's, Bangalore - Pensioned Conductor Comt. (Commissariat?) Dept.

Why couldn't I find his name in Norman Crowder's book, 'Pensioner's Abroad' ??

John was over 60 when he died, and it says "Pensioned Conductor" on the Burial record.

Ideas or explanations please (I did look at the list at the back of the book several times to be sure!)
