Hi my name is Dorothy Wheeler née Maugey I was born in Chittagong but my parents came to England in 1951. I have just started to put together my family tree. The people I am interested in are listed below.

Paternal:
G.grandfather: Theodore Adolphus Maugey (no dates)
1st Wife: Emma née? (no dates)
They had 7 children, I have the names of all 7 children but not all the dates.
2nd Wife: ?
They had 2 children maybe more, I have both children's names again no dates.

Grandfather: Cecil Adolphus Maugey b. 22.10. ? m.? d. 1985/86 in Calcutta.
Grandmother: Dorothy Ivy née Lee (no dates) d. 1923/24 I think in Calcutta.
Grandmothers parents, I have no information on this side at all.

Maternal:
G.great grandfather: Joba Gomes (no dates)
G.great grandmother: Flora née (no dates)

Great grandfather: Michael John Gomes b.10.05.1865 m.22.09.1884 d.?
Great grandmother: Josephine Isabella née Rogers b. 27.03.1871 d.?
Great grandmothers parents: George Thomas Rogers (no dates)
Marian or Mary Rogers née ? (no dates)

Grandfather: Leopold John Gomes b.23.09.1888 m.? d.10.04.1951
1st Wife: Regina Isabella née Lewis (no dates)
Grandmother 2nd Wife: Mary Bridget née Campbell b.26.03.1900 m.? d.07.06.1982 London England.
Grandmothers parents:
G.Grandfather: Peter Campbell b.1835 m? d. in Dacca aged 57 05.04.1892
G.Grandmother: Antonia née Razario(not sure of the spelling)
b.1865 Dacca d. in Dacca aged 27 25.11.1892

I thing they lived mostly in Calcutta, Dacca and Chittagong. I hope someone can help me with these enquires. Please contact me direct on the e-mail below.
