Hi Al
we have THOMPSONs in the family and wondered if there might be a connection?
Unfortunately we don't have a lot to go on but this is what we do have:-

My grandmother was Margaret Emily THOMPSON born Jetalsar Jan 4 1900, also a
sister Margaret Elizabeth (or vice versa) and a brother William.
Their father was James.
That is all we have and have a brick wall for both my maternal grandparents.
Fingers crossed that there might be a connection.
