Subject: [India-L] OIOC Query - Burma Railways

If anyone is going to the OIOC, or has access to materials there, could I
request a favour? I would love to know details of any records of a John
James HART who worked for Burma Railways during the period covered by the
following listed record:
Burma Railway Company, L/AG/46/6/17-18 List of Employees 1898-1921.

He might also be listed in any of the following records too, as I believe he
was an engineer, involved in the construction of the Rangoon to Mandalay
railway, and fairly senior:
L/F/8/1-20. Index Z/L/F/8/1-2
V/12/51-52, 54-62 & 66-80
V/13/195-213
V/13/227-43
L/F/10/229-44

The OIOC site also says "Lists of railway employees are given in Bengal,
Madras and Bombay directories and in Thacker's Indian Directory" Where might
I find this information?

I do know John James HART was in Mandalay in 1899, as that is where his son,
my grandfather, was born.

Any information would be very welcome.
