Hi to all you Listers who picked up on my greeting with such a lot of your own.

We had our function run by the South London Anglo-Indian Association. It started with Mass at 12 noon, it was held in a school, so there were stalls with games of chance, raffle, and the rest were mainly food with many stalls inside the hall and on the grounds outside selling karti kebab, meat patties, pouchkas, pillau, biriani, chicken curry, kofta curry, pork vindaloo, potato chops, panthras, etc.
There was continuous music, Indian kite flying, egg & spoon race, five a side football for the children. There were about 200 people, but more kept coming throughout the day. Though we left at 3.30 p.m., I am sure it went on well into the evening.
I just thought I would share this event of ours with you lovely people.
All the best.
Cecil.
