Hello everyone, Whilst wandering in the cemetery
of St. Judes Anglican Church, Randwick, New South
Wales I came across the following tombstone in the
back row with iron railings around it. The inscription
is on an obelisk with a stone urn on top covered by a
draped cloth also in stone.

Sacred to the memory of Major Charles George Temple
Chauvel late of the 35th Madras Native Infantry who
departed this life on 24th June 1865 aged 67 years,
also to his dear wife Mariana Chauvel who departed
this life 2nd Jan 1890 aged 88 years.

I hope someone can claim them.
