Hi Bev,
there are many good books on Hyderabad - not sure which seige you mean. If
there is anything specific you are looking for, I can have a look for you
amongst the books I have on Hyderabad for that period. Most are on general
history and may not be specific, however I can look all the same - any
battle names you can provide might help.
I presume it was between the French and the British and the Nizam as ally!
He is not listed as having being buried in the Nizam's Dominions - I have
checked the 'List of Inscriptions From the Tombs & Monuments in HEH The
Nizam's Dominions'.

Hi all,
Could anyone let me know any good books, or other sources, to learn about
the siege of Hyderabad. An ancestor, Frederick HUXTABLE,(1823-1906) worked
for the East India Company, and was apparently involved in this altercation.
