Hello Shirley,

The school became the "Cambridge School" for a while but the property now
belongs to the ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police) I understand the buildings
are in-tact and well maintained. I tried several times to get them to send
me photographs without success.

My mother Helen MARKS was there from 1929-1940 and I would love a few
photographs.

A former student Barbara Kitson who currently lives in a suburb of Perth in
Western Australia wrote an excellent book called "No Time To Say Goodbye"
and in it she has several chapters devoted to her life at "Caineville House"
starting there as a four year old boarder. The events as she describes them
seem to reflect my mothers schooling in some ways and according to another
former student her descriptions are very accurate. Any former students or
anyone wanting to read the book or whatever I could pass your name and
E-Mail address on to Barbara.

Regards

love to revisit after some sixty years.
