Hi All,

Can anyone assist me with this one? Does anyone know which
district
that Chatham, Kent and Sheerness, Kent BDM's were registered in ?

My ggrandparents disembarked in Chatham (from India) and it
appears
that they resided in Kent. I've been trying to locate my ggrandmothers
death certificate for years (hardly helped with a name like Mary
Watson) and will be able to narrow my search down considerably with
a
precise registration district. I've been through the GRO indexes and
the St. Catherine House guides available at the State Library of NSW,
but they do not specifically cross refer by placename.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
