And my cousin was the Drum Major in the EYorks. Frank
Smelt.

During the war he came back from Dunkirk with only the
clothes on his back.

When we walked down the road together, he would say to
me, "John, get those shoulders back, swing those arms,
bags of swank, bags of swank!"

I was around 6 or 7 at the time! :-)
