For All,
Regardless of who you plan on leaving your research to, make four or five
complete copies and donate them to your State Library, County Library and the
counties your ancestors came from. It would also be great to send a copy to LDS
or Ancestry.com.
We have a situation where a family member worked years on our line when he
passed on, his wife had his research. She then gave it to a niece who did not
work with it or donate it. The last we heard was it was in a shed someplace
and that was twenty-five years ago. If you are going to do all this work, it is
well worth protecting for the future.
