I've just subscribed to this list having chanced upon an index entry for Allison Conqueror Anderson in the "Hoosier Genealogist", Vol 40 p 215 (2000). The name is so unusual that I think he is at least connected with the Allison Anderson who was born to John Anderson and Mary Conqueror in Bishopwearmouth, England on 3rd July 1859. Previously I had no inkling of any connection with Indiana.

Mary was descended from the Conqueror family from Perth, Scotland. Allison was a common male name within the family.

I would be very grateful for any information on Allison Conqueror Anderson or indeed any other Conqueror descendants.
