After reading posts on a couple lists for more than a year now, I've
noticed lots of folks from the Holmes Co, OH area moved to the northern
Indiana counties of St. Joseph, Marshall, Elkhart, and Kosciusko.

Was there something special about this area of Indiana ca 1850?

Hoping someone has some ideas!
