Samuel McCutchen's wife, Nancy Wells, was born between 1795 and 1804 and married 1817. This Nancy's father may have been William Wells. He was born 1760 in Calvert Co., Maryland and served in the Rev. War from N.C. - lived in S.C. and Fayette Co., Kentucky before moving to Floyd Co., Indiana sometime after 1809.( according to pension application records).
