Amy C Baldwin was born 22 Feb 1818, probably in Butler Co, OH. She was the sixth child of William A and Amy Crooks Baldwin. The family moved to Montgomery Co, IN, in 1826. Amy married Hiram Bowen Kirkpatrick 10 March 1842 in Montgomery Co. On 2 Apr 1844 Amy and Hiram sold to Amy’s uncle, Thomas Baldwin, 18.06 acres of land in the east half of the NW quarter of Section 9, Wayne Township, land she had inherited from her father. Other land she inherited was sold by her heirs--her mother and her siblings Sarah Shanklin, Elias, Thomas, and William C--in 1847 after her death. She died 10 July 1844 and was buried in O’Neal Cemetery in Montgomery Co.

After Amy’s death, Hiram married a second time to Ruth Kerr on 10 Oct 1845 in Fountain Co, immediately to the west of Montgomery Co.

I am seeking information on any descendants of Hiram and Amy or Hiram and Ruth. I have a considerable amount of information on Amy’s ancestors, siblings, and their descendants and would be happy to share.
