Tom: Can't answer your questions abt. books or studies on the Germans to
Frnaklin Co.IN., but my gt. granfather Herman B. RULMANN, Sr. immigr. in
1865 from Messingen, Hanover, Germany & first came to Cinci.OH., & then to
Oldenburg, where he bought a flouring mill. Another ancestor John Henry
BROKAMP was in Oldenburg by 1840 or before. He immigr. from Steinfeld,
Oldenburg, Germany abt. 1834, first to Cinci., OH. then to Oldenburg. Lucy
Weaver, Defiance,OH.
