I had to drop from the list some months ago due to a constantly crashed
computer, but now I'm back.
My main surname is ABRAHAM. Benjamin Abraham purchased land in Franklin
County about 1811. He lived in Bracken Co., KY at the time, but was born in
Fayette Co., PA to parents born in Chester Co., PA, as was his wife, Mary
Abraham, first cousin.
He had several children, some who went to Franklin County with him, some to
Salt Creek Twp., Decatur County with spouses.
Enoch Abraham was the founder of Enochsburg in Franklin County. (Harding,
Lewis. "History of Decatur County.")
Susan Abraham married John HARDING, Jr. and settled in Salt Creek Twp.,
Decatur.
The two families married into several Franklin County families. A few
stayed, but most went to the newly opened western lands.
