Gibson County History Buffs,

Going through some notes taken some time ago and came across one made from
the "History of Gibson County, Indiana" by Gil R. Stormont. May have been
on page 340 of that book. Mention is made of three forts in Patoka
Township. These were Fort Branch, Fort Hopkins, and "one at William
Harrington's on the old McCurdy place."

I would like to learn more about Fort Hopkins. One of the surnames I am
researching is Hopkins and Patoka Township, Gibson County is the right area.

Also researching MORRISON, SPENCER, LONG, and LATHOM from Gibson County.
Can anyone help with information about Fort Hopkins?
