Hi List members,

Have just run across a snippet of a clue in pursuit of an elusive
great-grandmother. A handed-down record says she was born
in Hazelton, IN in June, 1837. Since her family was
settled in the Friendsville area of Wabash county across
the river in Illinois, she was probably there only temporarily.

Is there an 1830 census of Gibson county available on-line?
Or any area history that I might tap into to get some idea
of what was there?
