Good morning Dick & All,

Dick, earlier this morning you wrote:

"Is anyone having the same problem that I am. I have been receiving
about 20 % of my usual mail. I am on over 90 mail lists, and seem to be
getting about 15-20 of them. I have checked with my ISP and they are
showing no problem... Rootsweb is denying a problem..Where is all of the
mail going... I normally get 10 or so a day from NJHUNTER, KENTUCKIANA,
BUSHEY, to name a few... I am getting NONE... If anyone else is having a
problem, please answer me privately, as I am not getting the Rootsweb
mail, and if you will, please name your ISP. I am trying to find out
what the problem is.

Thanks.

Last week I received a message from one of the Rootsweb list-owners
warning of potential problems at Rootsweb due to an unexpected need to
re-build one of their servers. If I remember correctly, this server
held many of the lists' e-addys. They transferred their back-up lists
to another server, but the list-owner said there was a good chance that
many e-addys were lost or, in the case of new subscriptions, never added
to a specific list.
The suggestion was to go to the appropriate Rootsweb page & check to see
what lists they show you as being subscribed to. I'm fairly new at
this, so I planned to wait a few days for the "bugs" to be worked out
before giving it a try. Hope this info helps you find out what's
happening on your end of the web.

Good luck!

Karen
