Hi Gibson Co folks--I'm trying to track down the elusive Eda/Edy Strickland, b Gibson Co 1810-1820-ish. She married George Manning in 1833 and had several children. By 1840, he is gone--died, divorced??

By 1850, her name is Eda Hannah, and she has a miscellaneous assortment of children variously surnamed Manning and Myres, Hannah and Strickland, according to the census, is the wife of William Hannah, who, in 1845 married Nancy Manning Strickland (former sister-in-law of Eda/Edy.) By 1860, the Manning children are gone and the Myres daughter has morphed into a Hannah child.

Is there anyone out there who knows what happened to these people? I have checked the census records, and marriage records in Gibson Co--as much as possible--and contacted the County Court Clerk of Gibson Co, and I still don't have the answers. Does anyone have a piece of the puzzle?
