Thank you so much -- that is an excellent resource. I have recently learned that my gggrandmother Mary (Polly) Hickman may have been a Native American, and the first I know of her is in the Hamilton/Tipton county area in around 1845. That is when she and my gggrandfather John Fox had the first of their 4 children. Now I at least have a starting point in researching her possible Indian heritage. Thanks again -- Donna in Dallas
