NOBLESVILLE DAILY LEDGER, Saturday, February 23, 2002, p. A2:

Briefly abstracted, William Edward Cox died on February 21, 2002 at Rawlings House, Pendleton, Indiana at age 92. He was born February 17, 1910 in Kettle, Kentucky to William Rice Cox and Ardelin (Scott) Cox. He married Mrytle Cox on September 2, 1932. She survives.

Also surviving are sons: Bobby Glenn Cox and Danny Edward Cox of Noblesville and James Howard Cox of Ft. Myers, Florida

Surviving daughters: Joyce Ann Maulden of Pendleton, Indiana and Opal Marie Tomlinson of Lavernia, Texas

Children who preceded him in death:

Hule Emmitt Cox, L. B. Cox, Olan Cox, and unnamed infant Cox and daughter Nellie May Cox.

He was buried in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, Indiana.
