Samuel R. Templeton married Mary J. Justice in Hamilton County, Indiana on 28 May 1877 (book 5, p. 338) from the WPA INDEX TO MARRIAGE RECORDS FOR HAMILTON COUNTY

1880 census, White River Twp., Hamilton Co, Indiana T9_281, p. 270B. Samuel, age 44, and Mary J., age 40, are living with children: William, age 11; Posse [sic] age 10; and Homer, age 2

1900 census, White River Twp., Hamilton Co., Indiana T623_375, p. 3A Samuel, age 68, is listed as widow. His daughter and son in law are also in the household along with a laborer and his son Homer J. age 22 (b. October 1877)

1910 census, Wabash Twp., Adams Co., Indiana T624_338, part 1, p 159A Homer, age 34 is living with wife (married 9 years) and children.

WPA INDEX TO MARRIAGE RECORDS FOR MADISON COUNTY shows a listing for Homer Templeton m. Mande F. Bowman on 21 February 1901 (Homer marrying at age 25)

Templeton, Mary J. b. November 30, 1839 d. July 20, 1896

Templeton, Samuel b. 1832 d. 1904

I could not find Samuel in the WPA INDEX TO DEATH RECORDS.
