Nicholas FOX (born 1788 in NC) and his wife Levina Holder and their family appear in the 1840 Hamilton County census. Their children were Elizabeth (who married Josiah Mozingo), Margaret (married John Stinson), George Washington (married Jane Hamilton), Nicholas (married to Margaret Maria Brady), Barney (married to Sally Sturgeon), and Lovina (married to Sherwood Allen). I now believe that there was another son John, born 1807, possibly from a prior marriage of either Nicholas or Levina. John married Mary (Polly) Hickman and had 4 children. John is my brick wall. Would love to share information on this family.
