If you go to www.topozone.com and enter Hamilton Co., IN it will give you a selection list of sties. Click on Lowery Cemetery and it will show you a map locating the cemetery at the corner of Klepfer School Rd.& East 136th St. There is no listing for
a Butterfield Cemetery.

I am just starting on my Butterfield line. John H. Butterfield and Frances Badgley would be my Great Grandparents x4. I know they moved from Morgan County, Indiana, to Fall Creek Twnsp., Hamilton County, IN c. 1833. I have a book titled "History of Hamilton County, Indiana 1880". In that book it references John H. Butterfied as an early settler. It also makes reference in the Fall Creek Twnsp. section of a Butterfield Cemetery, named after the landowner. However, I can not find a Butterfield Cemetery listed in any on-line indexes for Hamilton County. There is, however, a Lowrey Cemetery, and it is located not far from the land that John H. Butterfield owned. I also just found 3 Land Patents for John H. Butterfield in Fall Creek Twnsp., Hamilton Cnty., and printed off copies of those and "mapped" them out. Looks like he owned land in the area of Promise Road/131st St.

Can you tell me if you've found the burial locations for John H. Butterfield and Frances Badgley in Hamilton County yet? And, do you know anything about a Butterfield Cemetery in Fall Creek Twnsp., Hamilton Cnty., IN? Or anything about the Lowrey Cemetery?
