Subject: [INHANCOC] Help with finding records for Gibbs family

Could anyone help me with finding more information about my gr. gr. gr. gr.
grandfather Hugh Gibbs? I know absolutely nothing about him except that he
is supposedly the Hugh Gibbs found in the 1840 Census Hancock Co. Green
Township, pg. 200.
I don't know where he came from or where he went.

Could someone find this census record for me? Or help me try and find a
land record or anything that might have more information about him.

His daughter, Lydia Gibbs is listed in family records as being married July
29, 1841 in Greenfield, Hancock Co. to Milo Nichols. Would anyone be
familiar with marriage records of that time? Would there have been a record
of parent or any helpful information?

I would appreciate anyone who can help me find a clue about this Gibbs
family.
