A person by the name of Frances E. CLUCAS was a witness for an ancestor,
Lucinda Strickland KENNEDY, widow of James Levi KENNEDY, to obtain a Civil
War pension in the year 1892, in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO. Frances E.
CLUCAS and Cate KING both declared they had known the applicant for a period
of 20 years. James Levi was b. in Hancock Co., IN May 1847. His father was
Thomas KENNEDY.
I am trying to find what the relationship is among the above persons;
relatives, neighbors? Are any of the above names familiar to anyone on this
list?
I have sent for the complete CW pension file for James Levi KENNEDY, but
eager to find some info on CLUCAS and KING while waiting for reply.
Appreciate any and all suggestions
