Kim: Per: your e-mail to Kristi Sar. I am g-g grandson of Michael and Julia. Lewis is my great grandfather. I was interested in your finding on Census CD #304 (1860) that they had spelled their name "Hagg." Lewis was born August 1842 thus he was 18 in 1860. He volunteered for Civil War duty at age 20 and mustered out in 1865. He married Elizabeth Shirley, as you noted. Thanks too for info on brothers John and Hubert and sisters Catherine and Mary. II too am cur9ious about the Mississippi move. By the way my antecedents hale from Montgomery, Indiana. I bet there are some Shirleys still there. I look forward to communicating further with you about our ancestors. Jim Haag
