A huge multi-line family reunion is planned for June 21st-23rd, 2002 for families with connection to the families of Fleenor and Hattabaugh. That pretty much includes all the early pioneer families. A carry-in picnic will be Sat. June 22nd. Activities on Friday and Sunday will include tours of area cemeteries, visits to genealogy record sites, and exchanging genealogy information at a family heritage display that includes photos, family memorabilia (including quilts) and family tree displays. Music, hiking, swimming in the Delaney Creek Park lake are just part of the activities. There will be a white elephant auction and discussions of the site selection of the next family reunion. Delaney Creek Park is in rural Wash. Co. IN. Families connections include: Weddle, Kemp, Nicholson, Jackson, Turley, Trueblood, Johnson, Blackwood, McCallen, Roney, Denny, Duncan, Gater, Stalker, Holmes, Walker, Carter and most of the early pioneer families.
