I believe your description reads something like "northwest 1/4 of the northeast quarter of Section 35, Township 3 south, Range 4 east" which is a legal description of land and could be found where the ancestor owned by checking any of today's plat map books. Unfortunately we cannot tell the name of the township from the description as townships cross the Township 3 line or whatever. Look at the side and see where Twp 3 and Twp 4 connect; or Range 4 and range 5 to see you have the right Section 35 or whatever as there are several.
