I think this is Nathan/Nathaniel Meeks, who Married Rachel Peters on April
23, 1844, in Harrison County, Indiana. I think he died sometime between 1850 and
1860. I found Rachel with a Vincent Brewer in Fulton County Illinois. Eliza
Meeks/Brewer, Thomas Meeks, John Meeks, are all there. If I am right Rachel was
sister to Vincent Brewer's wife Elizabeth Peters, who he married in Feb 7,
1833 in Harrison County, Indiana. He must have married Rachel sometime before
1860, I found them under Mr. Brewer & Mrs. Brewer. I had to use every trick I
knew looking them up. I found them through Thomas Meeks and his age. They are in
the 1870 census as Vincent & Rachel Brewer in Illinois. they have four
children living with them, John W., William, Cherry, Emma.
