Looking for information and relatives of John and Abigail (Mills) DRIVER who were married in Montgomery County, OHIO in 1825 and then purchased land in Wayne Twp, Henry County, INDIANA in 1826.
This couple lived on their Indiana homestead and had 4 children - Levi, Elisha, John and Martha Jane DRIVER in the Knightstown area.
In 1835 both parents - John and Abigail, died of Cholera and left their 4 children
orphans. Children Levi and John were sent to the James and Sarah (Rhody) DRIVER family in Randolph County and Elisha and Martha Jane were sent to the Jacob and Amanda (McNees) DRIVER family, also in Randolph Co., IN.
I am trying to find burial site information for both John and Amanda DRIVER.
Does anyone know if burial records were registered in the county, if people were buried on their homesteads in 1835?
I am in possession of Probate Records for father - John Driver - dated Dec 1, 1835, which were sent to me by U. E Bush.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone related to the above family.
