I have checked the History of Jackson Co, IN and one of the Obit books by
Jonette K. Johnson and didn't find anyhthing to connect, other than maybe
mention of Gov. Oliver Morton.

I am researching the Robert Holmes, John Wesley Holmes family of Jackson
Co., IN. Do you have any connection here?
