One fair good resource for the Quaker Coxes who served in the Civil War
is Indiana Quakers Confront the Civil War by Jacquelyn S. Nelson,
Indiana Historical Society, 1991. One problem I have been told about is
that there are some Coxes who were not confirmed Quakers listed. There
are 13 Cox men listed in this text.
