Wheeler Benjamin Clark, died near Fiddletown, Calif., on March 3, infant son
of S.C. & May Wheeler, aged 6 mos. & 23 days. (April 24, --R.H.)

Wheeler, Mary Emma, eldest daughter of Alonzo C. & Harriet wheeler, was b. in
Newark, Ohio, Dec. 16, 1851, & d. at Clear Spring, Ind., March 20, 1872.

Wheeler, Alvin, died at Freetown, Mon., Aug. 9, aged 98 years. Funeral at

Wheeler, Infant --Freetown news-- Rev. Price preached the funeral of Marion
Wheeler's infant, which died sometime ago, on Sun. morning. (Thurs., April

McKain, Emily--Died at the residence of her dau., Mrs. Marshall Hudson, in
Brownstown twp., Fri., April 8, Mrs. Emily McKain, aged 58 years. She was b.
in Redding twp., March 15, 1829. she was the mother of 9 children, 6 of whom
are living--Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Mary Motsinger, Mrs. Margaret Reedy, Mrs.
Stocker Wheeler, of this county; Mrs. Retta Smith & David Mc Kain, of White
County. The remains were interred in the Taylor's Chapel cem., Saturday. (
Mon., April 8, 1887. Her maiden name was Emeline Grosvenor. She 1m. Israel
Wheeler in 1844, & he d. in 1851. She 2m Edward McKain in 1853. She had 6
children by her second husband, 4 of whom are living. (Tues., April 12--D)

Wheeler, child--Freetown news--The youngest child of James Wheeler d. last
Sun. of chronic diarrhea. The remains were interred in the Taylor cemetery.

days. of ulceration of the stomach. He leaves a wife and 7 children. (March

Nicholson, son--Reddington news--A little son of James Nicholson was buried
at the Gossett graveyard Friday. (Tues., July 27--S)

Kurgan, Alice--d. of consumption at the residence of her father, John
Nichols, in this place, on Wed. of last week, aged 21yrs., & 2 weeks. She was
the wife of David Kurgan, who cruelly deserted her a yr. or more ago, & who
is now in Ohio, whence he came to this place. Burial in the new cem.
Thursday. (Thurs., Feb. 24--B)

Nicholson, Mattie--the 7 yr. dau. of Robert Nicholson, who lives 6 miles east
of this city, d. last night of throat disease. (Fri., Nov. 11--D)

Prow, Charles married Elizabeth J. Nichilson May 11, 1848 in Washington
County, Indiana.

Nickolson, Samuel -- d. at his home here on Thursday. The remains were taken
to his former home in Washington Co. for burial. He leaves a wife & family.

Abbott, Mary M. --Died at the family residence on Indianapolis Ave., Mon.,
Nov. 28, of pneumonia, Mrs. Oliver Abbott, in the 55th yr. of her age. Mary
M. Pyatt was born in 1833 in Delaware county, Ohio, and was married to O.P.
Abbott in 1858, near Columbus, this state, where she resided with her husband
until they removed to Redding twp., this county, 8 yrs ago. They removed to
this city last spring. She was the mother of 8 children; 4 of whom --Charles,
Delbert, Mrs. Eliza F. Well and Miss Ella A.--with her husband survive her.
Interment will be made at the Mount Pleasant cem., 3 miles west of Columbus,
Wednesday. (Tues., Nov. 29--D)

Montgomery, Mrs. David--died at the residence of her father, O.P. Abbott, who
resides on Indianapolis Ave., Sun. July 3, of consumption, Mrs. David
Montgomery, aged 23 years. She leaves a husband & 2 little daughters. (Mon.,
July 4--D)

Abbott, Fannie--Died at the residence of her parents in Reddington this
morning, July 20, of cholera infantum, Fannie, dau. of Dillard Abbott, age 10
months. (Fri. July 20--D)
