infant dau. at Cana last week. (Tues., Aug. 3 --S)

Brown, Sarah "Sallie" Houston news--Mrs. Sarah Brown, "Aunt Sallie", departed
this life on Thurs., July 22, aged 88 years. Her maiden name was Phillips.
She m. Elisha Brown, who d. several yrs. ago. She leaves 2 sons, Joshua &
John L. Her remains were interred in the Houston cem. on July 23.(Tues., July
27--S)

Houston news-- Aunt Sally Brown d. at the residence of her son, John M.
Brown, W. of town, last Thursday. She married Elisha Brown about 65 yrs ago.
Seven children were born to them. Johua & John M. are the only survivors. She
had resided in this place ever since her marriage. Her husband d. in March
1861, since which time she had resided with her son. (Thurs., July 29--B)

from overwork for Mrs.Henry Fahl near Shields.

congestion. Mrs. Arrie Brown, aged about 22 years. She had been married about
