I’ve seen the death certificate for John Harden Durham born 1862 and no longer believe he could be the son of John Hardin Durham born 1842, though I don’t dismiss a possible Durham line connection. From the death certificate I see John Harden Durham died Seymour, Jackson County IN on 2 Sep 1943 and was buried in Riverview Cemetery. John Harden’s wife is listed as Anna Belle Waterbury. He was born 27 Apr 1862 in Rockcastle County, KY Rockcastle County is also where John Hardin, 1842, father came from and returned to in late 1850s or early 1860’s. John Harden Durham’s parents are listed as Unknown in the death certificate. There is a John Durham to Mary E Beeker marriage on 21 May 1885 in Jackson County Indiana. Could this be an earlier marriage for John Harden Durham and Beeker and Booker may be the same person?
