A question for the Johnson Co. experts...

Are any of the DEERs in Johnson Co. actually DYERs...

Or, do they merely get confused with easy other?

Did Preston UTTERBACK marry Mahala DEER in 1848,
or was she really Mahala DYER?

The same question would apply to any marriages with the JACOBSes or any other UTTERBACKs...
