Thanks everyone for posting the surnames in the subject headings; it's
great!

I am looking for information on the family of Dr. Edward R. PARKS who
lived
in Plain Twp. in the 1840s and later. Edward and his son, Marshall, were
also in the Civil War while residing there. The 1850 census shows the
family
as this:

PARKS, Edward R.33 M PhysicianKY
PARKS, Eley M.32 F Canada
PARKS, Marshall 7 M IN
PARKS, Lawrence 6 MIN
PARKS, Emiline 4 FIN
PARKS, Rush 5/12 MIN

I would appreciate any information at all about this family but am
especially
interested in finding out when and where the above Eley M. (Alcemida)
PARKS
died.
