I added a new link to the Kosciusko Co USGenWeb page today. The Bureau of
Land Management, US Govt, has opened their Land Patent files for searching
on-line. You can get into their opening page from the "Researching Land
Records" bullet on the main Kosciusko Co page.

When you get to the BLM page, in the upper left side it will ask you for
the postal code of the area you want to search. I just entered my postal
code for Fort Wayne and it takes you to a page asking if you was to search
Indiana records, Ohio records, etc. Not all states are included but IN and
OH are.

You then get a number of choices on which to search on. I simply put in
the surname and chose Kosciusko County and it returned records on two
individuals with the surname I chose. When I clicked on the name, It
returned a page listing the document number of the original land patent for
that individual and the legal description of the land. It also gave you
the option of viewing what I think is an image of the original record. I
was not able to get their viewing software to work, so I can't confirm this.

This site is better then the one offered by the Indiana Archives in that,
in addition to telling you that an individual did indeed receive a patent
for land from the federal government, it tells you exactly where it is and
how much land was involved.
