That is the online address for the NY armchair genealogist. Those with
early Dutch ancestry should pay attention to the last posting for the
Dutch Reformed Church Baptisms of New Amsterdam. It is an online list of
baptisms from 1639 to 1730 listing childs name, parents, date, and
witnesses.
New Amsterdam is the Dutch name for NYC during the time that Manhattan
was purchased from the Indians for wampum.
