Jennifer said that Samuel Kelley's wife, Elizabeth Crouch (b. 1830), was a
niece of Daniel & Amanda (Groves) Lightfoot and that the mother of Elizabeth
Crouch was the daughter of Elizabeth Stinson.

>From Pg. 576-577, Biographical and Historical Record of Kosciusko County,
Indiana, by Lewis 1887, Chicago, 2 vols: The parents of Daniel & Matilda
Groves were William & Elizabeth Groves. The Indiana State Database for
Marriages to 1850 has has a marriage for Matilda Groves to Horatio Shaw on Feb
15, 1838 in Kosciusko Co, IN.

Page 174, Kosciusko Co 1836, lists Elizabeth Crouch b. 1830 as dtr of James &
Malilda (Groves) Crouch.

Was Malilda/Matilda Groves married to both Horatio Shaw & James Crouch? Can
anyone shed some light on this?
