I have confused Elizabeth Grindle Beghtel who married James V. Beghtel with Elizabeth Gurtner Beghtel (born July 28, 1868 in Noble County Indiana) who married James W. Beghtel. She is buried in Long Cemetery in Wabash County Indiana.

James Vernon's father, Jesse Beghtel born July 28, 1818 in Pike/Plain Twp Stark County Ohio, married Elizabeth Stoker and the second X Elizabeth Grindle. Elizabeth was born in 1818 and her parents were Henry and Elizabeth Starner Grindle. Her first husband was William Kindle. Elizabeth and William Kindle had sons Thomas born 1806 and Charles born 1868.
Elizabeth Grindle Kindle and Jesse Beghtel had daughter Mary Bell Beghtel born December 06, 1877. She married William Franklin Starner Sr on November 28, 1927 and died November 28, 1927 in Goshen Hospital Elkhart County Indiana.
Then had a son James Vernon Beghtel born July 10, 1877 also born in Tippecanoe Twp Kosciusko County Indiana and married on January 31, 1897 to Hahnah C. Estep. Later he married Zepha Strombeck.
Your Elizabeth Grindle Kindle Beghtel died in Turkey Creek Twp Kosciusko County IN about August 29, 1895.
