As many of you already know, Warsaw celebrated its sesquicentennial over the
last weekend of June. On July 3rd, the Warsaw Times Union published a
Sesquicentennial edition, because, they too, were celebrating 150 years --of
newspapering. The editor very graciously provided me with text files and
with a little massaging, I have incorporated it into my YesterYear in Print
web page. You will find it listed under a new heading SPECIAL EDITIONS.
The files are much bigger than any of the rest of the articles that I have
on the site, so please be patient when you bring them up. On "dsl" they
come up pretty fast, but on dial-up -- it takes a half-minute or so for the
file to come up.
