Researchers:
We are looking to connect Moses N. Hill with his proper ancestors.
Moses married Nancy Martin in 1832 in Lagrange County, IN. However, in
the 1850 census, his wife's name is shown as Almira. (Perhaps Nancy
Martin died and he remarried.)
Moses N. Hill was the son of Dr. Moses Hill and his wife Rissey Hill.
The Hill family came from NY to Lagrange County, IN about 1830. They
also had a daughter named Laura Hill who married Washington Adams in
1832 in Lagrange County.
We do not know which county in NY the Hill family originated.
We are looking to trace back both the Hill family and the Washington
Adams family.
