Check Noble and Lagrange Counties, Indiana for Pixley's. Elijah Pixley married Lucretia Morris in Noble County, as I recall. They had a daughter Elizabeth, born 19 May, 1840, and Harriet Josephine, who married Jacob Kern in Noble County, 17 February, 1867, Book 2, page 61 Noble Co., In. marriage records. Interesting that I have just started on this for my cousin, Sam Patton.

My cousin's great grandfather was Samuel Patton, born 5 July, 1832, Noble County, Indiana and married to Eliz. Pixley, born 19 May, 1840 - died 13 Mar., 1916 and married 17 May, 1877, in Noble County, Indiana. One of the children of Elijah Pixley moved to Michigan. I hope this helps! Jim
